URL Blocking

Access to Web sites can be blocked according to user, group or desktop machine.

URLs are filtered using:

• URL Categories
  Categories are continuously updated with current known URLs. Categories include:
  • Pornography
  • Gambling
  • Web Mail
  • Aggressive
  • Warez
  • Dangerous Content (see content blocking)
  • Anonymisers
• Blacklist
  A list of URLs to be blocked. In addition to entering URLs you can use regular expressions.
• Whitelist
  A list of URLs to be unblocked. Users can be limited to access only URLs listed in the whitelist.

Reports are available showing web usage by user or machine. See reporting.
