Fax Server This facility requires an analogue modem. Class 1, Class 2 & Class 2.0 Fax modems are supported. These can be connected USB or Serial. Igaware recommend the US RoboticsFax modem. When enabled the fax server will receive FAXes in pdf, tif or postscript format and distribute them via email as an email attachment to addresses listed in the "Fax recipients" Alias list. FAXes can be sent by printing a document to the "faxlp" printer on the Igaware Server and include a line "FAX-NR : nnnnnnnn" somewhere in your document. The nnnnnnn defines the recipient's FAX number. A fax template is available by default in the Igaware Server Public file share You may also send FAXes by emailing to the following address: "user@nnnnn.fax". For example; user@01912517004.fax would send the email to the FAX number 01912517004. There is also a share on the File Server called FAX Received into which all received faxes are stored as .tif files. |
