This document assumes Client for Microsoft Networks is installed.
Open the Windows XP Networking control panel by clicking the button and selecting Control Panel. If you see Switch to Classic View under the Control Panel heading on the left, click that text to switch to Classic View. Select Network Connections. Double-click the icon in the resulting Network Connections window.
Click on the button.
Select the component.
Click on the in the Name Service Provider box and select the Windows Locator option if it is not already selected.
Click the button to return to the Local Area Connection properties.
