Windows NT Workstation Configuration

Configuring the TCP/IP Network Protocol

This document assumes the the TCP/IP protocol is installed.

  1. Open the Windows NT Network control panel by clicking the Start button. Select settings, then select control panel. Double-click the Network icon in the resulting Control Panel window.
  2. Select the Protocols tab.
  3. Select the TCP/IP properties component.
  4. Click on the Properties button.
  5. Select the IP Address tab.

Select the Obtain an IP address from a DHCP server option.

If DHCP is not used, specify an IP Address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway. Contact your system administrator if you require these.
