- Open the Windows 98 Network control panel by clicking the
button. Select settings, then select
control panel. Double-click the 
icon in the resulting Control Panel
window.
- Select the
tab.
- Click on the
button to enable/disable the sharing of
your files and printers with others.
- Select the components that you wish to allow others to have
access to.
Note: You can password protect these resources, so that
others are required to type in the password before they can
share the specified component.
- Click on the
button.
