Note: You will need have to have administrative privileges to set up Networking!
This document assumes the the Network Adapter Card is installed.
Open the Windows 2000 Networking control panel by clicking the button. Select Settings, then select Network and Dial-up Connections. Double-click the icon in the resulting Network and Dial-up Connections window.
Click on the button.
Select the button and then the tab to get a window similar to the one below.
Check these settings to ensure that your speed is at 10 megabits per second, and you have half-duplex selected. Names for these values will vary for different adapters.
For this adapter, select the property, then choose from the pull-down menu.
Now click the button to return to the Local Area Connection Properties.
